Graham Waffles

These waffles have crispy, graham-flavored goodness! While the recipe is wonderful as-is, consider adding a half cup of chocolate chips to your batter for an extra punch of chocolate. No one will mind!
Yields: 6–8 waffles 

112 cups all-purpose flour

  • 12 cup graham flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 112 cups buttermilk, warm
  • 12 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Homemade Chocolate Syrup or Chocolate Ganache, to serve
  • Homemade Marshmallows or store-bought, to serve

  1. Preheat the waffle iron.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flours, baking
    powder, brown sugar, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs,buttermilk, butter, and vanilla. Pour into the flour mixture and beat until smooth.
  4.  Pour about 131cup batter in the hot waffle iron. Cook the waffles 5–7 minutes, or until the steaming slows down and waffles are crisp and lightly browned on the outside.
  5. Serve hot, with Homemade Chocolate Syrup or Chocolate Ganache and marshmallows, as desired.
